Ganiyu Sanni is a Nigerian born on 4th July, 1970.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, two Masters of Business Administration degrees in Financial Management, and banking. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a chartered banker from the Chartered Banker Institute, UK. He has attended various post graduate sessions in the U.S. including Havard Business School.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the Banking industry and some of his key accomplishments include the launching of Access Bank subsidiary in Zambia. He has initiated and implemented various significant cost saving initiatives that reduced the bank’s operating costs annually; oversee the implementation of cost-effective business office expansion drive of the Bank in over 40 locations in record times of implementation. He has been involved in turnaround of banks leading to better performances.
His employment has included roles as Zonal Retail Operations Head; Group Head, General Resources Management and is currently the Managing Director of Access Bank (SL) Limited.
He was appointed to the Board of Access Bank (SL) Limited on 27th September, 2018.
